We are very pleased that GROSSE FREIHEIT by Sebastian Meise and HINTERLAND by Stefan Ruzowitzky are going to celebrate it’s UK premieres at the BFI London Film Festival! Both directors will attend the festival in order to present their films.

We are very pleased that Sebastian Meise’s GREAT FREEDOM was nominated for this years European University Film Award (EUFA)! In September GREAT FREEDOM was awarded five prizes: At the Valenciennes Film Festival: BEST FILM, Best Actor – Franz Rogowski & Special Mention of the Jury. At the Athens Film Festival: FISHER AUDIENCE AWARD & Prize of the Greek Film Critics Union Association. In the next months GREAT FREEDOM is going to have several national premieres at international film festivals: Zürich Filmfestival  Filmfest Hamburg Busan IFF Hamptons IFF Film Fest Gent Reykjavik IFF Viennale

GREAT FREEDOM was honored at the Sarajevo Film Festival with the CICAE Arthouse cinema Award from the European Arthouse Cinema Association. Sebastian Meise accepted the award for Best Actor on behalf of Georg Friedrich, and to top it all he was also presented with the main award of the festival! After a long journey from the first idea through the challenges of the Covid19 pandemic, this is the most wonderful place to premiere Sebastian Meise’s powerful sophomore feature of love and longing for freedom.
