Klara Pollak graduated from the Vienna university of Economics with a degree in business and a master in cultural studies from the University of Vienna.
She started working for the film production company Witcraft as an Assistant to the Producer and Junior Producer and worked on films such as LICHT (dir: Barbara Albert) or WE USED TO BE COOL (D: Marie Kreutzer) in the development phase.
She produced the short film IN THE SHADOW OF UTOPIA (dir: Antoinette Zwirchmayer) which premiered at Berlinale 2018 and the documentary WHAT I REMEMBER (dir: Antoinette Zwirchmayer) which was selected for the competition at FID Marseille 2017.
She is a MAIA Workshop Programme and EAVE Marketing alumni. She has been part of the FreibeuterFilm team since 2017 and is currently working as a Junior Producer on the debut feature films HOW TO BE NORMAL (dir. Florian Pochlatko) and SON (dir. Lorenz Tröbinger).
